The SouthernStar MidSummer Classic XIV is now in the record books. We had a
wonderful day and lots of great competition. We had over 30 couples competing, and
the quality of the dacing was exceptional. It is clear that you all have been
working very hard.
Speaking of competitors, we would like to
thank each and every one of you for participating. You are the life blood of any
competition! I would like to give a special thanks to all out of state dancers who
came such a long way to be with us and to all the first time dancers who choose our
competition as the paltform to new dancing adventures.
Thanks to all the enthusiastic spectators.
Dancers will dance much better before an excited, attentive crowd, and this crowd
was great and rambunctious.
Thanks to the great panel of judges.
It is always a pleasure to be judged by such expertise.
Thanks to Richard and Laurie Collet for the
use of the Rhapsody Ballroom. What a great place to dance!
Thanks to all the great volunteers who made
the whole day come off with out a flaw.
Thanks to Richard Collet, our MC, for
moving the day along.
Thanks to Mike & Peg Johnston for the
best music around.
